FAQ
Straight answers.
What owners ask about Reptify before deciding — how we work, how long it takes, what it costs, what you still own when we are gone, and what we will not promise. Questions about a particular service are answered on that service’s own page, linked at the foot of this one.
How we work
We remove digital friction: the nameable points where a good business loses revenue and time between a customer wanting them and choosing them. A missed call at seven. A services page whose prices only exist inside an image. A record that disagrees with itself across four directories.
That work runs in four passes — audit, prioritise, implement, optimise — and the offers map onto the friction rather than onto a menu.
With an audit, and the audit is a conversation rather than a form. You get a written list of what is costing your business, ordered by what it costs, back within 24 to 72 hours. No obligation, and no report handed back with homework attached.
A web presence is typically four to six weeks from go-ahead to live. Smaller pieces are days rather than weeks. Ongoing work is ongoing by design and does not have an end date.
The variable is almost never us. It is content: photographs that exist, prices somebody is willing to publish, and the decisions only an owner can make about what the business says it does. Projects that run long run long there. We will tell you at the audit which parts of the timeline are ours and which are yours.
Three things. Access to what already exists — the site, the listings, the booking system, whatever is live. The facts nobody can invent for you: opening hours, what the services are actually called, and any price you are willing to see published. And one person with the authority to decide.
That last one sets the pace. The rest can be gathered without you; a decision cannot.
Yes, and often you should. The four passes apply to whatever the scope is. If the audit says your worst friction is a phone nobody answers after five, there is no reason to rebuild a website first.
The order comes from what each gap costs you, not from what is most expensive to buy.
A real agency and real people. AI is how the work gets delivered faster and more consistently, not what you are buying. If you want the longer version of why that distinction matters, we wrote about the system behind an AI agent.
No. We work in person across the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Napa Valley, and remotely everywhere else. The in-person part matters for some things — photography, sitting with a front desk to watch how calls actually get handled — and matters not at all for most of the rest.
What it costs, and what you keep
It depends which pieces fit your business. Request an audit and we will walk through it based on what you actually need. We will not quote a number that is not built around your situation, and we do not publish a price list for work that is not the same twice.
You do. The hosting account, the domain and the code stay in your name, and you keep working software if you stop working with us. That is deliberate and it is the whole difference between owning a site and renting a page on somebody’s platform.
Whatever we agreed, written down before you pay for it. A site can be handed over complete and left alone, and it will keep working because it does not depend on us being there.
Some things genuinely need maintaining rather than finishing — how AI systems describe you changes because those systems change — and we will say plainly which category each piece of work is in rather than selling a retainer for something that is already done.
Some of it. A site that has been made legible stays legible. But AI models and the way they source information change continuously, so being described correctly is maintenance rather than a setup. We will be clear about which is which.
What we will not do
No, and nobody can. Rankings, placements, call volume and revenue all depend on your market, your business and the product decisions of companies neither of us controls. Anyone promising you otherwise is selling the guarantee rather than the work.
What the work does is remove the reasons you are being skipped. That is a smaller promise and it is the honest one.
Only real ones. A figure on this site is either first-hand and true or it is cited with a link to where it came from, and no review appears until a client has written it and approved it. Where we have nothing yet, the space stays empty rather than being filled with something plausible.
No. We run no affiliate or referral-commission programme and we do not buy, sell, rent or exchange contact lists. Where we approach a business, our own team researched it by hand, and research is not consent — nobody is texted because we found them. The terms say so in full.
Questions about a specific service
This page is about the company. The detailed questions live with the work they belong to, because that is where they are worth answering properly.
- Always On Front Desk answers whether it sounds robotic, what happens when a caller needs something only a person can do, and how it differs from an answering service.
- AI Visibility Strategy answers whether this is search optimisation under a new name, and how to check what AI assistants say about you today.
- Smart Web Presence answers why a good-looking site can still lose customers, who handles hosting and maintenance, and how this works if you already have a designer.
- Business Photography answers why stock imagery cannot prove anything, who owns the frames afterwards, and why this one is booked in person while the rest runs remotely.
And if the question is really “what is going wrong on my site right now”, that is what the audit answers.
