Privacy
What this site collects.
Very little. Three companies touch anything you send us, and they are named below. There is no advertising on this site, nothing that profiles you, and no cookie set unless you agree to one.
This website
Fonts, styles and images are served from this domain, not from anyone else’s. There is no advertising on this site, no advertising network, and nothing here builds a profile of you or follows you to another website.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It is configured so that storage consent is denied by default: no analytics cookie is placed on your device unless you tell us otherwise, and Google receives measurements without one. IP addresses are anonymised, and advertising and personalisation signals are switched off entirely.
The choice is yours to make and yours to change. The bar that appears on your first visit sets it, and the Cookies link in the footer reopens it at any time. One small item is stored on your device either way, to remember what you chose, because asking again on every page would be worse than remembering.
The same choice controls a second measurement: our messaging platform, the same one that already carries our text messages, also records which pages you visited before you contacted us, so an enquiry can be attributed to the page that produced it. It is loaded only if you agree to analytics, and not at all if you decline.
Loading either of those means your browser makes a request to Google or to our messaging platform, both third parties. Those are the only third-party requests this site makes while you are simply reading it, and neither happens unless you have agreed.
If you send us a form
The contact form collects your name, business, email, an optional phone number, what’s going wrong, and anything else you choose to tell us. We use it to reply to you and to prepare your audit.
We also keep it. Your answer to “which sounds most like you” is recorded as a tag, and we use those tags to send you occasional email about the thing you told us you were dealing with — not one newsletter to everybody on the list. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link: one click, no reply needed, and it stops.
We do not sell your details, we do not rent them, and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own marketing.
A web form is not a secure channel. Please don’t send passwords, account credentials, payment details, health information or anyone else’s personal data through it.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, on a form, in writing, or by asking us to text you, we may send you SMS about the thing you contacted us for: replies to an enquiry, appointment and booking confirmations, and updates on work in progress. We collect the number itself, your consent and when you gave it, and a record of the messages sent, and we use them only to run that conversation.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is kept for the messaging programme alone. The only parties who ever touch it are the messaging providers who carry the message on our behalf, and they may not use it for anything else.
Message frequency varies with the conversation you are having with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect anything else you have asked us to do, and you can ask us to delete the number entirely using the address below.
Consent to receive text messages is given directly to Reptify Media, is never a condition of buying anything, and is not obtained from or passed to any other company.
Who else touches your information
Three companies, and this is the whole list. Each acts on our instructions, for the one job named, and none of them may use your information for their own purposes.
- FormSubmit — relays the contact form to our inbox. It sees whatever you typed into the form, in transit.
- Google Analytics — counts visits, and only if you agreed to it. It never receives your name, your email or anything you typed into a form.
- Our messaging platform and its carrier — delivers and receives the text messages described above. It sees your mobile number and the content of those messages. If you agreed to analytics, it also sees which pages of this site you read, so an enquiry can be attributed to the page that produced it.
Our web host and our email provider necessarily handle the site and our correspondence as well. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and there is no arrangement under which anyone pays us for it. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and correspondence — while we are in conversation, and for 24 months after we last hear from you.
- Client records — for as long as our accountant and the tax authorities require, which is longer than we would otherwise keep them.
- Messaging consent and opt-out records — for 4 years after you opt out. We keep these precisely so we can prove you consented and prove we stopped.
- Analytics — Google Analytics is set to retain event data for 14 months. Aggregate reporting outlives that; the event-level detail does not.
- Server logs — a short rolling window, for security only.
Ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, and we’ll confirm when it’s done. The only things we keep after that are the ones the law requires us to.
Where it goes
Reptify Media is a United States company and the services above are operated from the United States, so information you send us is processed there. If you are writing from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or anywhere with similar rules, that is a transfer out of your country, and you should treat it as one when deciding what to send.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for a copy in a portable form, and object to how we use it. You don’t need a legal reason, we won’t charge you, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
If you are in California, or in one of the other states with a consumer privacy law, that includes the right to know what categories we collect and why, the right to deletion and correction, the right to a portable copy, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them. We do not sell or share personal information, so the opt-out right has nothing to act on here, but it exists and you may exercise it.
If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you additionally have the right to restrict processing, the right to object, and the right to complain to your data protection authority. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was lawful before you did.
To exercise any of this, email info@reptifymedia.com and say what you want. We may need to check you are who you say you are, which is a protection for you rather than an obstacle. We aim to answer within 30 days and will tell you if it will take longer.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not send text messages to a number we have reason to believe belongs to a minor. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The date at the top is the date it last changed. If a change is material and we hold your details, we will tell you rather than rely on you noticing.
